This will be his first film, , and we joined him at the premiere. Unlike the usually confident star, his face showed just a hint of nervousness.
The movie, , is a comedy about a little mistake that an angel makes... sending a dead father back to earth, reincarnated as his son's best friend. The father, in the body of his son's friend, gets to make amends with his son over problems they never got to solve before his death. Lee Min-woo plays the son, "Kang Won-tak," and does an amazing job. "Kang Won-tak" is the head of the school, the rebellious teen that's a legendary fighter. Now that means a lot of action scenes for Lee Min-woo, but besides a pulled wrist, the singer and actor pulled through without any problems and without a stunt double.
First film, first leading role, and first action scenes! Lee Min-woo did it all. He had branched out further than just being a member of the group, Shinhwa. He also pulled out a solo career as "M"! Soloist, composer, entrepreneur... Now add actor to the list, and he's a bona fide multi - tainer.
This is a story of a misbehaved high school son who will create an affectionate bond with his father who is reincarnated in the form of his friend after his death. Kang WonTak is a high school student who had a bad relationship with his father. Kang Wontak’s father, Kang YoungGue died the day before he was released from jail.
At his father’s funeral, WonTak said “Are you happy that you are going alone?” and ran from the funeral. YoungGue meets an angel and told him that, “I want to be next to my son, even for a second.” The angel gave him a chance and changed (rebirth) YoungGue into WonTak’s class friend Ha DongHoon. However it was hard for the 50-year-old man to get used to living the life of an 18-year-old high school student while doing everything he can to get close to his estranged son.
